Sales and service people often find it challenging to stay honest when the competition is fierce and the marketplace is turbulent. The best sales and service advice that I can offer is to be militant with your honesty. In the long term, you are far better off building a successful reputation for delivering on your promises.
You may find it easy to sneak in white lies about your product, delivery, competition or anything that makes you look good and the competition bad. But being dishonest only leads to short term gain; in the long term it never helps to gain customer loyalty. |
